Apsaugotas dujomis MIG virinimas
Suvirinamas viela inertinių dujų aplinkoje (MIG suvirinimas) MIG/MAG suvirinimo procesas (arba GMAW - suvirinimas lydžia viela elektros lanku apsauginių dujų aplinkoje) yra toks procesas, kai elektrinis lankas tarp lydžios vielos ir suvirinamo objekto sukuriamas, apsauginių dujų aplinkoje. Ši aplinka gali būti inertinės dujos (argonas) arba aktyviosios dujos (CO2 arba argono ir CO2 mišinys). Viela yra nuolatos stumiama padavimo mechanizmo į suvirinimo vonią. Gali būti naudojama ištisinė (GMAW) arba miltelinė viela (FCAW-GS - suvirinimo savisauge viela be dujų apsaugos arba milteline viela, virinant dujų aplinkoje).
